Change of Mind

Markot will allow a return for store credit or exchange where you have changed your mind, provided that the item in question is: returned within 14 days of receiving your order; as new and is not used, worn, or opened and has all original packaging and tags intact (including any package seals (if any) being unbroken); in a resalable condition; and not damaged in any way.

As such, we cannot accept change of mind returns on items that come in sealed packages or boxes where seals are damaged or broken.

A few more points to consider:

  • You may be provided with a product exchange, refund or store credit (at our discretion) only when the returned product is received, and it complies with the requirements of our policy.
  • You will be responsible for the cost and risk of returning goods, including the cost of return shipping. (AUD$14)
  • If the item is not received by us, you will not be eligible for a credit or exchange.
  • Therefore, we recommend you insure high value items that you return for change of mind.

Exchanges

Please note that exchanges are subject to availability. If there is no longer stock available, please select an alternative item, store credit or (if eligible) a refund. We will honour the promotional price for the same item as purchased in a different size. An exchange for a different colour or style will be accepted up to the same value as purchased. Any additional charges will show in the checkout.

Exceptions & Exclusions

There are circumstances where some items are not eligible for a return. These include: Buy Now, Pay Later payments – you are only eligible for exchange or credit (this is due to the cost we incur for offering these services on our website).

Safety and sanitary reasons – these items include:

  • Intimates
  • Bassinets
  • Mattresses
  • Play Mats
  • Furniture
  • Cots
Store Credit – 110%

Once your return has been received, quality checked and processed, this credit (equaling the amount you paid plus 10% extra) will be available online in your Markot Wallet, ready to apply to your next purchase.

Please note: store credits are applied to the account registered with the same email address used to place your order and cannot be transferred to another account. Store credit from returns are valid for 12 months.

Sale Items & Discounted Items

Once your return has been received, quality checked and processed, this credit (equaling the amount you paid plus 10% extra) will be available online in your Markot Wallet, ready to apply to your next purchase.

Refunds

All refunds will be processed back to your original payment method. Refunds can take up to seven business days to show on your account depending on your payment provider.

Change of Mind

Unfortunately we don’t accept change of mind returns for our refurbished items. So please choose carefully.

Faulty or Defective Items

At Markot the refurbished items you purchase are checked first at our Warehouse – before arriving at your door. That means you can enjoy complete peace of mind knowing that your item is authenticated and as advertised.

If the item doesn’t meet the description or is faulty once arrives at the warehouse – the return fee will be at the seller’s expense.

If your item does not match the listing or there is an issue with the item, please notify us within 14 days of delivery.

  • Item(s) must be in the original condition they were sent and all original packaging must be included
  • ​​Item(s) must include the return label provided by us

If further investigation is required, we will arrange for a courier to collect the item and return it to our warehouse. If the item is then confirmed to be faulty or damaged we will refund you the money into your account.

Exchanges

Due to the anonymous nature of our marketplace, we are unable to offer exchanges or swaps — again, the good news is you can always sell back to us when you no longer want your item.
